Co-simulation perspective on evaluating the simulation with the engine test bench in the loop

This article shows how a hardware in the loop (HIL) simulation can be formulated such way that quality of assessed by evaluating total energy residual (TER). The validity this approach was checked with standard co-simulation to show TER used compare non-iterative Jacobi and Gauss-Seidel masters. given example known global error value correctly determine which masters is better.
